Plans to swap dance studio at St Michaels Court, Southwell, for clinic are backed by Southwell Town Council
Plans to convert a dance studio for use as a clinic for medical use have been supported.
A planning application, by Mr James Crossley, for the change of use of the shop and dance studio at Units 4 and 5 at St Michaels Court, Southwell, was backed by members of Southwell Town Council’s planning committee.
Committee chairman David Martin said it was an unanimous decision.
“We didn’t see any reason to object to the change of use,” he said. “It means more people will get to benefit from the space.
“I was surprised that the application even came to us because I don’t believe that a change of use in this instance is required to go to a planning committee.”
Newark and Sherwood District Council will have the final say on the application.
