Plans submitted to Newark and Sherwood District Council over a property at 67 Tuxford Road, Boughton




Plans have been submitted to change the use of a residential house into a children’s day nursery.

The planning application submitted to Newark and Sherwood District Council by Mr and Mrs McCree is for a property at 67 Tuxford Road, in Boughton.

The proposed ground floor plan would include a front porch with an office reception next to it.

The day nursery would have two rooms dedicated to children aged one to two and another room for those aged two to five, as well as a baby room.

The plans will also see the house’s kitchen maintained and to create children’s toilets and a storage space.

The plans include a separate disabled WC, which includes a shelf, grab rails, an alarm cord with two red bangles and the elevation of the layout makes it suitable for wheelchair access.

The application is to be decided by the district council at a later date.
