As the dust settles after the COP 26 meeting in Glasgow, it may be time to reassess the significance of its billing as humanity’s last chance to achieve the all-important goal of limiting warming to 1.5C to avoid a climate catastrophe.

Groups like Extinction Rebellion still seem to really believe that we will go extinct if we cross that magic 1.5C barrier.

Current western leaders, like Biden and Johnson, share this obsession and the drive to achieve Net Zero.
