Nottinghamshire Police and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service cordon off Rufford Lane because of flooding

By Connor Thompson

Wet weather continues to cause problems in Newark and Sherwood.

Rufford Lane, which runs between Rufford and Wellow, has been cordoned off by both Nottinghamshire Police and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

The pictures below were taken earlier today outside The Mill.

The road remains closed.

The Met Office suggests rain will continue again at 6pm for roughly 18 hours.
