Police appeal: Ram raid at Trespass shop at East Bridgford Garden Centre results in £30,000 loss




Officers are appealing for information after a ram raid resulted in the loss of approximately £30,000.

At roughly 1am on Sunday, November 15, a transit-type van reversed into the shutters and window of the Trespass shop at the East Bridgford Garden Centre.

Five masked individuals entered the shop and stole a large number of Rab and Berghaus coats valued between £100-£200 each.

The van and a second vehicle, believe to be a hatchback, then escaped via a muddy field.

Officers from Nottinghamshire Police have asked anybody with CCTV or dash cam footage to come forward.

The car was believed to be heading away from East Bridgford.

Officers have also warned residents to avoid buying cheap Rab or Berghaus coats, and instead contact 101 quoting reference number 046 of November 15.
