Newark Police have looked to the public for ideas as it hopes to compile a list of youth activities in the town in its drive to tackle anti-social behaviour.

Officers said there were a plethora of projects available in Newark, which they would like to help promote to youngsters so they can develop skills and find interests.

As well as scouring the internet and engaging with council youth services, police are asking if any youth groups, sports teams, youth organisations or other groups with a youth or children's section would contact them with details of days and times they meet — as well as websites or contact details and the age ranges catered for.

Police are looking for the public's help.
