Nottinghamshire Police investigates potential break-in at former Lilley and Stone School on London Road, Newark

The police are investigating after a suspected break-in at former Lilley and Stone School.

Nottinghamshire Police received a report today (August 22) at 4.03pm after someone was spotted on the roof of the former girls high school on London Road, Newark.

Officers are unsure of the person’s intentions at the premises, however, they suspect it was an attempt to steal cabling.

The police is currently on site searching for someone who matches the description.
