Nottinghamshire Police appeal for information following sheep attack and warn of the dangers of keeping dogs off their lead

Police are appealing for information following a sheep attack in the Syerston area.

Nottinghamshire Police have described the incident as worrying and have warned on social media that "it's a criminal offence for the owner of a dog to allow it to worry livestock."

They also want to remind dog owners they are liable for damage caused as it's every dog's instinct to chase.

The incident occurred between November 24 and 25.

If you have any information about the incident call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 368-25112018.
