Nottinghamshire Police release image of a man that they wish to trace after an incident on July 25, on the number 90 Vectare bus from Nottingham to Newark

The police have released an image of a man that they wish to trace after an incident on a bus.

The incident took place on Thursday, July 25, on the number 90 Vectare bus travelling from Nottingham to Newark, at the Spring House stop.

A member of the public was hit around the head.

Officers carried out a number of lines of inquiry to locate the person responsible, but were able to find them.

Now, Newark Police have now released an image of a man and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

PC Lee Lane, who is investigating the incident, said: “We have released an image of a man that could help us further our investigation and are hoping the public will be able to identify him.

“Do you know the man in the image? Are you the man in the image? Please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
