Police seek distinctively-painted car
A distinctively-painted car is being sought by police officers investigating how another vehicle sustained significant damage in Ollerton last month.
Police are keen to trace the owner of what is believed to be a Fiat Punto which collided with an unoccupied, parked Ford Fiesta in Whinney Lane at around 10.45pm on Thursday August 18.
The Fiat was painted white, but had a black roof and black stripes on the bonnet.
It is believed the driver of the Fiat stopped to inspect the damage to the Fiesta before driving away.
Anyone who recognises the Punto, which would also have sustained damage in the collision, or knows where it may have been repaired is urged to call Pc 2536 Andrew Moulds at Ollerton Police Station on 0300 300 99 99, extension 808 7063.
