Newark Police seek help after public disorder in Tolney Lane, Newark on Sunday (May 12)

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after officers swiftly responded to a report of public disorder in Newark on Sunday night (May, 12).

A spokesperson from Newark Police said they were called to Tolney Lane just after 11pm after a report that a group of people had damaged three cars and two caravans.

A man was taken to hospital with leg injuries but has since been discharged.

The offenders made off in a vehicle which was later found abandoned.

Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
