Sergeant Wells, from the Newark Neighbourhood Policing team, said: "Whether it be an off road bike or pit bike, we would like to re-iterate that if you are riding one of these illegally, carelessly or in an anti-social manner we will catch up with you.

"Thanks to increased support from multiple members of the community we are able to locate and seize these vehicles.

"Please continue to report these incidents and if safe to do so, evidence those that are blighting our roads with their careless riding; whether this be a photographic still or dashcam footage."

Those with images to share should inform the control room operator when making a report.
