Newark Advertiser poll asks if readers will be making a New Year's resolution for 2024
Every new year presents us with a symbolic opportunity for a new beginning.
For many that means making resolutions for some sort of positivity or change in 2024.
A New Year's resolution is a tradition where a person resolves to continue good practices, change an undesired trait, accomplish a personal goal, or otherwise improve their behaviour at the start of the coming year.
Resolutions could be as simple as improving fitness, saving money or aiming to be kinder to others, but also as specific as finding a new job, becoming a vegan or even running a marathon.
It’s important to remember that whatever your plans, resolutions are not strict and failing is not necessarily a bad thing — at the end of the day they are just fun, low stakes, personal challenges that should be enjoyed.
So, will you be making a New Year's resolution for 2024?
If so, what will your resolution be? Let us know in the comments.
