POLL: Will you be supporting the return of the British Cycling National Circuit Series to Newark?
Professional cycling will be returning to Newark this summer after successfully hosting the finale of the National Circuit Series in 2022.
The Newark Town Centre Races will return on Friday, July 28, as both amateur and professional cyclists descend on the town for a second year running.
Last year's event was hailed as an enormous success by organisers who estimated roughly 3,000 spectators turned out, with similar numbers expected this year.
Newark Market Place will have musical entertainment and a carnival-like atmosphere, with people gathering for the races encouraged to visit Newark's pubs and restaurants.
As in 2022, the races will mark the end of the British Cycling National Circuit Series, following races in Otley, Ilkley, Sheffield and Colne.
