Reader’s letter: Poor planning

Who is responsible for planning the roadworks in Newark?

In all my years of living in this town I have never seen anything so ridiculous as what is taking place right now

Traffic was total gridlock on Saturday (even more than usual) by one set of roadworks after another throughout the town.

Frustration does not begin to cover it for us poor motorists!

Getting the roadworks all out of the way in one go may seem like a good idea, but reality is very different. — A. CHAMBERS, Newark.
