Readers Letters: Poor planning by highways

Excellent highways planning once again!

After months of waiting Southern Relief Road opened on Friday to link Newark and Fernwood via Middlebeck.

Those using the road on Friday and over the weekend would have been greeted at Middlebeck by the dreaded yellow signs announcing that a section of road through Middlebeck will be closed for three weeks from Monday.

Thus, motorists could only use the new section to Newark for a grand total of three days! — R. MILLER, via email.
