“We are thrilled to announce Launay’s restaurant and bar will be re-opening under new ownership,” said a spokesman from the business.

“Local couple Adam and Tina Wade are excited to be taking on the restaurant to ensure that Launay’s remains at the heart of the village of Edwinstowe to benefit the local and wider communities.

“Both Adam and Tina have run several successful businesses both locally and throughout the UK and are determined to use their expertise to ensure the restaurant's continued success which has been built over many years by the previous owners and founders Alain and Alison.

“Alain and Alison will be working closely with the new owners to ensure that the legacy of this outstanding restaurant continues for many years to come.”

The restaurant will be officially re-opened on Friday, March 8, from 11am to 11pm, when musician Ben Haynes will provide entertainment.
