Porsche crashes into central reservation on A46 roundabout near Lord Ted at Farndon

A concerned resident said drivers are treating one of the town's busiest roads like a race track after a sports car crashed into a central reservation.

The incident saw the driver come to a stop on the central reservation on the A46 roundabout near the Lord Ted, Farndon.

It happened yesterday morning (Thursday, February 6).

"Someone parked a very expensive car on the barriers," said a passerby, who did want to be named.

The resident said he passed the crashed Porsche twice.

He said it looked as if the car had been driving towards Newark from the Nottingham side of the A46, and took the Farndon roundabout too fast.

"People treat it like a race track," he said. "They come bombing along the A46 and leave it too late to slow down. It's an evil roundabout.

"It looks like a case of more horsepower than ability."
