Balderton WI group president retires after four years

The president of a WI group in Balderton has retired.

The Dorewood WI (Balderton) held its annual meeting where Rose King retired as president after four years.

Rose had organised newsletters every month for the last two years during covid.

She was thanked for her hard work by Pauline Redmile.

Jo Tyndall was elected as president.

April was the afternoon meeting when members where treated to afternoon tea prepared by the committee. This was followed by games of bingo with Jane Davidson as caller.

Dorewood meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 2pm in St Giles’ Hall Balderton. New members are welcome.
