Reader’s letter: Priced out

Given that we have been told the cost of stamps will rise yet again do the big chiefs who run Royal Mail realise it is only contributing to the lower demand for letters to be written and then posted to the recipient?

Seems to me that these over-paid directors should consider the needs of the many people who cannot send e-mails, and if they can’t they should clearly resign and/or lose their bonuses. The wages that they are paid should also be downgraded.

Yet another example of Central Government incompetence because they will do nothing to resolve this problem for many, as it was they who took Royal Mail out of public ownership.

No wonder this country is broken! — A. M. WADDINGTON, Sutton-on-Trent.
