Old King's Arm pub refurbishment among applications submitted to Newark and Sherwood District Council

Internal alterations and a refurbishment of the Old King's Arms pub, Kirkgate, Newark, is among the latest planning applications submitted to Newark and Sherwood District Council.

The changes are proposed for the ground and first-floor levels of the building by Admiral Taverns.

Other applications:

Bathley: Two-storey and single-storey extensions and new vehicular access, at Pinfold House, Main Street, by Mr and Mrs Daniel Joynes.

Bleasby: Single-storey side and rear extensions to existing unit, at Millside Country Store, Millside Livery Stables, Southwell Road, Thurgarton, by Mr Anthony Milward.

Collingham: Reserved matters in respect of the access, layout, appearance, scale and landscaping of phase seven, erection of five market dwellings, at land adjoining Braemar Farm, Station Road, by Braemer Farm Development Company.

Elston: Removal of existing single storey rear sun-room to create space for a proposed single-storey rear extension with pitched roof, at Appleacre, Low Street, by Mr and Mrs Smith.

Hoveringham: Extension to existing pavilion and change of use for two areas of land from agricultural to D2 to allow for all weather practice pitch, at Hoveringham Cricket Pitch, Main Street, by Hoveringham Cricket Club.

Newark: Proposed renewal of windows, together with minor adjustments to existing fenestration associated with planning decision 18/01500/CPRIOR, at Crown Building, 41 Lombard Street, by 2GP Ltd.

Newark: Yard re-configuration incorporating stock height increase and parking space amendments, at Travis Perkins, Brunel Drive, by Travis Perkins.

Newark: Addition of advertising vinyl to bottom of external windows and erection of signs to south and east facias (retrospective) at Happy Sundaes, 48 Kirkgate, by Mr Gary Lowis.

Newark: Reserved Matters for parcels 4a and 4b of phase one to include layout, scale, landscaping for 160 residential dwellings and associated infrastructure, at land south of Newark, Bowbridge Lane, Balderton, by Countryside Properties (EM).
