Pupils at St Michael’s Church of England Primary School are seen clearly now thanks to Southwell housebuilders Bellway
A housebuilder has donated high-visibility jackets to help keep children safe.
Bellway, which is building new homes on Southwell Road, Farnsfield, has provided 100 jackets to pupils at St Michael’s Church of England Primary School in the village.
The fluorescent jackets will make pupils more visible to motorists when walking to and from the village library.

Carolyne Watkinson, of Bellway, said: “We are looking forward to seeing the pupils, some of whom live at our Farnsfield development, looking bright in their jackets, and we hope our donation will enable the children to be clearly seen on their travels.”
Head Tony Walker said: “The safety of our pupils is at the heart of all that we do within school.
“The donation will allow pupils to be safe and seen as they cross the roads within the village.”
Bellway also donated jackets to Halam Church of England Primary School.
