Children at Beacon Hill Nursery, Newark, watch chicks hatch and deliver eight eggs

Pupils had the chance to witness chickens hatch and give wings to their creativity ahead of Easter.

Children at Beacon Hill Nursery, Newark, looked after the chickens and saw them hatch eight eggs.

They drew and painted inspired by the newly-born chicks and also took home some artwork including life cycles and paintings of their fluffy friends.
