Kelham Hall & Country Park is up for sale with Christie & Co with a guide price of £10m
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has been instructed to sell Kelham Hall and Country Park, with a guide price of £10m.
Christie & Co say the hall — owned by Jonathan Pass who bought it from Newark and Sherwood district council for £4m — presents a fantastic development opportunity, with full planning and listed building consent for conversion to a 103-bedroom hotel, complete with a spa, food and beverage, and recreational facilities as well as a wedding and events venue.
Designed by the famous Sir George Gilbert Scott as a precursor to his London St Pancras Train Station design, the elegant Grade I, ll and ll* listed Victorian estate dates back to 1863.
