Ashiana Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant, North Muskham, shortlisted in the Nation’s Curry Awards

An award-winning Indian restaurant has once again been shortlisted for a national food award.

Ashiana Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant, in North Muskham, has been shortlisted in the second Nation’s Curry Awards 2024, run by Oceanic Consulting.

The restaurant has been named one of the finalists in the Indian Restaurant of the Year (Midlands) category and will find out if it will be crowned winner and take the trophy home on February 12, at a black-tie ceremony at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester.

Saiqul Miah, owner of Ashiana, said: “What great news to start 2024 with. We are beyond thrilled to be shortlisted in such a prestigious category and take our place amongst some very worthy finalists. Once again, this recognition is testament to the hard work our staff put in to ensure every customer receives a superb dining experience every time they visit us.

“And of course, I also must thank our wonderful customers for their loyalty and support, and also for nominating us once again. We hope to bring another culinary trophy home to Newark very soon.”

The finalists have distinguished themselves with their exceptional quality, innovation, and consistency in offering a truly memorable dining experience.

Ashiana is no stranger to awards ceremonies, having picked up a hat-trick of awards in 2023.

The popular restaurant was named the Best Bangladeshi Restaurant in England at the English Curry Awards, Nottinghamshire’s Indian Restaurant of the Year at the Central England Prestige Awards and has achieved it’s fourth Travellers’ Choice Award from Tripadvisor.
