Retired Grantham police officer, of Newark, says she is loving new dream job at Rachel’s Retreat Travel Shop

A long police career spent helping people stood Rachel Lodge in good stead when it came to finding a new role after retiring from the force.

Rachel, of Newark, grew up in Farndon, and went on to spend 30 years as a police officer, with the last 28 being based mainly in Grantham.

Her roles have included working in child protection, CID, and latterly in crime reduction as an anti-social behaviour officer, where she would liaise with local authorities, community groups and social services.
