Racing driver dies after crash

A car enthusiast and entrepreneur has died after a racing accident.

Mr Jeffrey Leadley, 55, of Burgage Lane, Southwell, died yesterday from injuries sustained in an accident while racing in the GT Cup Championship at Thruxton, Andover, Hampshire, on Saturday.

He died in hospital after his Ferrari was in a collision with a BMW. The BMW driver was not injured.

Police are appealing for photographs or footage of the incident
