Newark and Sherwood Operation Reacher operation sees vehicles taken off road and several given tickets
Eight vehicles were taken off the road and several given tickets in a Newark and Sherwood Operation Reacher traffic operation.
The vehicles taken off the road either had no tax or were being driven without insurance, while tickets were issued for traffic offences.
One incident included riding pillion on a motorbike who thought it acceptable not to wear a helmet.
The team worked alongside Rushcliffe Operation Reacher and the roads policing unit.
Reacher have also been doing anti-social behaviour patrols in Hawtonville and Boughton following reports of concern.
On Sunday, the team supported the football match between Nottingham Forest and Cardiff.
Other tasks included arrest inquiries and searches for CID and supporting Newark and Sherwood response.
