Charity dog show returns, with all money raised going to a Nottinghamshire dog rescue kennels
A not for profit kennels in Nottinghamshire is once again holding it's annual dog show to raise funds.
The show will be is organised by Halfway Home Dog Rescue in Collingham — a private, non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in crisis situations.
The dog show will take place on Sunday 4th September, between 11am and 4pm, with activities, food and stalls also at the event.
A representative from the rescue kennels said: "All money raised during the day will go to our Halfway Home dogs at Collingham that are always desperately in need of food, medical care, blankets and coats to keep them warm during the winter and the upkeep of the rescue.
"We rely heavily on donations so anything you donate would be a huge help."
Visitors are encouraged to bring their own dogs along to dog show which will feature; twelve dog classes, a barbecue, cake stall, refreshments, Bric-a-Brac and other stalls.
Those looking to hire a stall at the event can do so by contacting the kennels directly.
The organisers are also asking for local people or businesses to consider helping out by sponsoring the dog classes and donating prize items for a raffle which is to be held.
The kennels state that: "We are committed to one goal; to improve the lives of the dogs we rescue by finding them forever homes.
"All of our costs are met from donations, kennel sponsorship, grants and fundraising."
