Residents celebrate after Farnsfield named the best village in Nottinghamshire in Campaign to Protect Rural England’s Best Kept Village competition
Residents are celebrating after its village was named the the best in Nottinghamshire.
Farnsfield has not only won the best large village category (population between 2,000 and 10,000) in the Campaign to Protect Rural England’s Best Kept Village competition, but also the best kept village overall in the county.
The campaign to make Farnsfield the top village in the competition has been spearheaded by a group of volunteers via the Farnsfield Community Spaces Facebook group, led by Lesley Healy.
