Newark: Save our villages campaign launched by Orston and Elton-on-the-Hill communities to stop up to 5,000 homes being built as part of garden village




A save our villages campaign has been launched to stop two rural communities being consumed by a new development of up to 5,000 homes.

The Greater Nottingham Strategic Plan proposes the build of up to 5,000 homes to create a garden village between Elton-on-the-Hill and Orston.

A group of concerned residents have formed an action group called Orston and Surrounding Villages Against Inappropriate Development (OSVAID).
