Rolleston residents raise concerns over Nottinghamshire County Council planning application that could put village heritage at risk

An outline planning application that could see a historic house demolished has been submitted to Newark and Sherwood District Council.

The application by Nottinghamshire County Council seeks to build three detached houses on the land to the rear of Ullyats Cottage, Rolleston.

The cottage was the summer home of popular Victorian author and illustrator Kate Greenaway, with much of her work based on her time spent in the area.
