Launay's restaurant, located in Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire announces closure after 19 years in business.
A restaurant and bar that has been trading for almost 20 years has announced that the business will be closing at the end of the year.

"It’s with sadness that we announce that Launay”s will be closing at the end of the year," said a spokesman from the restaurant.
"We’ve had a wonderful 19 years here and have met the most lovely people from near and afar during our time.
"We’d like to thank everyone for their loyal custom and especially the staff we’ve had over the years.
"It’s been an absolute pleasure to see the youngsters, especially, to develop into confident, well-mannered young adults.
"We couldn’t have done it without them.
"A big thank you to all of the entertainers, comedians, actors, and singers for their talent.
"We had hoped that another restaurateur would come along and take over the reins but unfortunately, it’s not to be.
"Instead, we’ll be making other plans for our restaurant that will leave us time to spend with our growing family.
"Thank you so much once again and we hope to see some of you during December's festivities."
The news has been mostly met with shock and sadness by patrons on the restaurant's Facebook page with plenty of people wishing the owners the best in their future endeavours.
