Chairman of Farndon Cricket Club says the amateur game must follow the professional game but isn't expecting return this year




A chairman of a cricket club says the amateur game must follow the professional game, but isn’t expecting a return to league action this year.

Mark Everington, chairman of Farndon Cricket Club, said the mood at the club was still positive despite a lack of on-field action.

“We are struggling to do much at the club,” said Everington. “We are following social distance measures, but even then we can only do a little bit on the ground.
