Newark Business Awards 2024 finalists revealed
The waiting is over and we can finally reveal the finalists in the 11 categories for the Newark Business Awards 2024.
Our independent judges have finished sifting through the dozens of entry packs submitted by the nominees and made their decisions.
“Once again, we have had a fantastic response to Newark Business Awards,” said Sharon Hodkin, editor of the Advertiser, which organises the competition.
“Not only have we had a high number of entries, but they have all been of an exceptionally high standard across all the categories.
“In talking to the judges, I know they have had a really difficult time reducing them down to just four in each category.
“But their work is still not over – now they have the even more difficult task of choosing the winners and highly-commended from all these excellent finalists!
“Good luck to all our finalists for the rest of the competition.”
The finalists were decided using the electronic entry forms submitted by the businesses.
Now, over the next few weeks our judges will visit each of the finalists to chat to staff and managers to get a real feel for how the business operates.
The finalists will also be filmed by Newark College for a screening at the awards ceremony.
All the finalists will be invited to a black-tie gala dinner at the Lady Eastwood Centre, Newark Showground, on Friday, June 14, where the winners will be revealed.
All our finalists will also be considered for the Judges’ Prestige Award.
The winner will be announced at the ceremony and will receive a trophy to keep for a year.
