Students in years 11 to year 13 were among those to take interest.

"Officers engaged with a variety of students and staff who asked all kinds of questions about policing and recruitment," Newark Police said on Facebook.

"Many were also very keen to inspect our public order equipment including our shield and door enforcer."

The free event took at the Lady Eastwood Centre at Newark Showground on Wednesday, November 3.

Organised by Newark and Sherwood District Council, the Lincoln College Group and the Advertiser, the event allowed businesses and education providers to meet and engage with their potential future workforce or students.
