Nottinghamshire Police in attendance at Station Road, between Orston and Elton following a two-vehicle crash
Three people have suffered injuries as a result of a two-vehicle collision.
Emergency services were called to the railway bridge on Station Road, between Orston and Elton around 1pm today, September 13, following reports of a crash.
A car and a van were involved in the collision.
The injuries suffered are believed to not be life-threatening.
Police closed the road after the incident and are likely to remain for some time until it is safe and vehicles are recovered.
Earlier today, Marshalls posted on their social media that the bus service 857 would suffer delays.
“Please be aware that this service is currently delayed due to an RTC between Elton & Orston, It will be on the move again as soon as the road is cleared. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.”
An earlier version of this story inaccurately stated, based upon information received, that the Marshall's bus was a part of the collision. However, this was not the case and it was just at the scene.
