Road closures in Newark planned for British Cycling National Circuit Series finale in Newark Town Centre
Travel will be disrupted this Friday (July 28) during the Newark Town Centre Races with a number of road closures and changes to bus services.
The course will take cyclists around several town centre streets including Kirkgate, Middlegate, Stodman Street, Castlegate, Lombard Street, Cartergate, and Bridge Street before finally entering the Market Square where the start/finish line will be positioned.
The roads on the circuit will be closed to traffic from 3pm, as well as St Marks Place, Boar Lane, Church Lane, Millgate, and the Royal Market Place.
Friary Road will have a no-waiting zone on its east side with buses in the area also being affected.
Newark Bus Station will be closed between 2pm and 7pm.
