Newark A617 Kelham Road remains shut after flooding

A major road in Newark remains closed due to flooding.

The A617 Kelham Road has been shut since Tuesday afternoon because of flooding at the rugby club and other parts of the road.

It is closed both ways between the A46 cattle market roundabout the the Fox Inn.

The closure is affecting traffic between Newark and Kirklington.

There is a detour in operation via South Muskham.
