The AA reports of road closures on the A17 between Brant Broughton and Fulbeck Heath and the A1 at Long Bennington, with several roads in Bottesford also flooded




Flooding has caused road closures around our area this morning (Monday).

Heavy rain overnight and snow early this morning has seen several flood warnings and alerts issued by the Environment Agency.

And now the inclement weather has seen a number of roads either partially or fully closed.

The A17 is currently closed between near the Brant Broughton and Fulbeck Heath turn-offs, with queuing traffic in both directions.

Closures are also occurring in Southwell, Greet Lily Mill on Station Road

The A1 is also closed northbound due to flooding between the Long Bennington and Toll Bar Lane turn-offs.

There have been reports of flooding in and around Bottesford, with roads affected including the High Street, Queen Street, Albert Street, Belvoir Road, Market Street, and Barkestone Lane.
