Newark and Sherwood District Council planning applications are announced

This week's Newark and Sherwood District Council planning applications have been released.

Applications in the Newark area include a change of use of land at a cricket club.

Caythorpe: Demolish bungalow and replace with chalet-style bungalow and detached single garage, at Briar Cottage, 9 Main Street, by Mr and Mrs Hulme.

Egmanton: Flood mitigation measures to an existing dwelling, at 1 Island Farm, The Granary, Kirton Road, by T. Bolsher.

Hoveringham: Change of use of agricultural land to use as practice pitch/nets (D2) at Hoveringham Cricket Club, Main Street, by Hoveringham Cricket Club.

Newark: Repairs to flat, including new floorboards including supports, replacement of part of partition wall, waterproofing to existing wall and new stud work to protect the existing exposed brickwork, at Flat 203, The Cavalier Building, Warwick Brewery, by Andrew Dobb.

Newark: Change of use from residential institution (C2) to large house in multiple occupation, at Friary Fields Residential Nursing Home, 21 Friary Road, by Mr Bucksheesh, Jagpal, Upkar and Balkar Pottiwall, Singh -Athenian Property Investments Ltd.

Newark: Vary conditions one and two attached to planning permission 15/00292/FUL to allow the crane to be retained on site for a further three years and the exterior of the crane to be covered with a green metal facade, at land at Farndon Roundabout, Farndon Road, by Andrew Morris.
