Balderton Village Day Nursery enjoy visit from Newark Fire Station




Nursery children were paid a visit from firefighters.

The youngsters at Balderton Village Day Nursery were able to look at the equipment kept on the engine.

They also got to hold a hose under direction from the Newark Fire Station crew.

They learnt about the importance of fire safety and the testing of smoke alarms.

Rachel Yarnell, Balderton Village Day Nursery pre-school leader, said: “The children had a great time.

“We brought out each age group in bubbles.

“They absolutely loved it."
