Southwell and District Lions will escort Santa and his sleigh around the area in their corner of Nottinghamshire

Santa will be making his way around towns and villages this month as he spreads Christmas cheers in his sleigh.

"Santa and his sleigh, with his Lions helpers, tour around Southwell and local villages," said a spokesman from Southwell and District Lions.

"Every weekday evening from December 6, (except the 19th because Santa needs a rest day) Santa's sleigh will be out and about up until Christmas.
