Santa to visit Cotgrave for Christmas lights switch-on

A town will be getting into the festive spirit on Friday to mark the switch on of its Christmas lights.

The event in Cotgrave, which has been funded by Cotgrave Town Council and the European Regional Development Fund, will run from 1.30pm to 6.30pm.

There will be a funfair on the precinct, alongside more than 20 festive stalls, tasty food and live music from local artists Dorothy Ella and The Moonshiners.

Children will also be able to meet Father Christmas inside his grotto at the Cotgrave Hub library.

Carparking for the event will be available at the rear of the precinct and at the Cotgrave Hub.
