ScareFest tickets launched for Newark charity Children's Bereavement Centre's fundraising event
It's time to get into the Halloween spirit as ScareFest tickets, in support of the Children's Bereavement Centre, are now available to buy.
The brand-new fundraising event will be held in the grounds of Newark Castle over the weekend of Saturday October 29 and Sunday October 30.
Everyone is welcome to attend ScareFest, with free entry to enjoy live entertainment, food and drink and a spooky Halloween trail.
Wristbands for children's activities will be available to buy for £10 per child, which includes:
- Entry into the trick or treat experience
- Halloween arts and crafts
- Bouncy castle & slide
- Fun in the creepy carn-evil
The two-day Halloween festival will also feature pumpkin carving — with a prize for the most creative pumpkin, face painting from 12pm to 3pm and a prize for best fancy dress.
On the Saturday, the Newark Ghost Walk will take place at 5.30pm, with tickets on sale for £10 per person, which includes a hot drink and tour.
Host, Ian Gillanders, will guide the fascinating, unique, ghost walk from Newark Castle and through the old market town, steeped in history and ghostly going ons.

Hardy's Farndon was also offically named as headline event sponsor for ScareFest earlier this month, who will also supply the pumpkin carving activity
