Caythorpe Primary School in Lincolnshire hits National Lottery's Awards For All Scheme's £10,000 grant
Children will now be able to get even more exercise following a substantial grant from the National Lottery.
Caythorpe Primary School (Lincs) has been awarded a £10,000 grant from the lottery’s Awards For All Scheme, which has been used to pay for the installation of outdoor exercise equipment.
It includes a double health walker, double slalom skier, horse rider, sky stepper, a rower and an arm and pedal bike to engage the children at playtimes.
Headteacher Katie Brockington said: “At Caythorpe Primary, we promote healthy living and wanted to offer our pupils more fun ways to keep fit.
“The outdoor gym will give the children a fantastic opportunity to be regularly active throughout the day.”
