Suthers School in Fernwood, Newark, Nottinghamshire has now opened up their facilities for rental to local sports clubs and community groups




A school is letting out their facilities to the community to use at nights and on weekends.

The Suthers School in Fernwood, Newark has now made available its grounds for sports clubs and community groups.

"Grassroots clubs are already using the football pitches we have to offer and the sports hall," said site manager Matt Ridyard.

"The sports hall can be used for football, netball, badminton, volleyball and badminton.

"The school also has a fantastic theatre auditorium and a dance studio available for use.

"There is an 11-a-side pitch and nine-a-side pitches available with changing rooms if needed for both boys and girls.

"We have an outside area that can be used for tennis, football, and netball."

The grass football pictures are well maintained, the theatre room can hold up to 125 people and the sports hall can be used for sports such as football, Netball, Basketball, Badminton and Volleyball.

There is also a dance studio, changing room facilities with toilets, showers, and staff on site.
