"The vast majority of students in year 11 (80%) achieved pass grades in a suite of subjects including English and maths.

“The new-style GCSEs, now in their second year, have posed challenges for many— staff and students alike — and our students have risen to that challenge with some outstanding individual performances.

“Our outcomes are the result of combined efforts, with students working incredibly hard to achieve, supported by expert teachers and families all committed to the best possible outcomes. Truly we are succeeding together.”

“Similar levels of success were achieved at A-level and I would like to congratulate all those who sat these challenging exams in the summer. Your determination to achieve your aims is so very commendable.

"Only a select few of those students are here this evening — so many achieved outstanding outcomes that we can only ever recognise a small proportion at prize-giving but I would like to congratulate every year 11 and year 13 student from the cohort of 2019."
