Schoolgirl, 6, presented £25 book token for winning Christmas card competition

A six-year-old schoolgirl was presented with a £25 book token when her colourful design was picked as the best submission in a housebuilder’s card competition.

Freya Wroblewski’s design, Christmas Eve, was chosen by sales advisors at David Wilson Homes’ Romans’ Quarter development in Bingham from 160 entrants at her school, Robert Miles Infants.

Freya also had her cards professionally printed so she could distribute them to family and friends before the big day.

Linda Barbuti, head of Robert Miles Infants’ School, said: “We were delighted that so many children entered the competition.

“The standard was really high and choosing winners must have been very tricky.”
