There are a number of schools that are closed this morning (Tuesday), as well as disruption on the roads because of heavy snowfall.
It was announced this morning that Orchard School in Newark and Sir William Robertson Academy in Welbourn are closed this morning due to the snow.
The Dukeries Academy in Ollerton and Tuxford Academy are also closed today due to the heavy snowfall and challenging local travel conditions, as has the Dukeries Library.

A yellow weather warning of snow has been issued by the Met Office and will remain in place for much of today.
This means that there may be travel delays on roads, with some vehicles and passengers stranded, and possible delays or cancellations to rail and air travel.
Bus and train services may be delayed or cancelled, with some road closures and longer journey times possible.
There is also a chance of injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces, and some rural communities could become cut off.
More advice from the Met Office can be found here.
Nottinghamshire County Council has also released plenty of advice on driving in the snow, and how to prepare your road and home for snow, which can be found at https://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/planning-and-environment/emergencies-and-disruption/winter-weather/safe-driving-in-winter
If you do get stuck, clear the snow from the wheels and put a sack or old rug in front of the driving wheels to give them some grip.
If you're forced to abandon your car, make sure you leave it as close to the side of the road as you can.
Newark and Sherwood District Council recycling bin crews in Blidworth, Thurgaton, Lowdham and Gunthorpe are reporting some access issues despite the teams being out and about.
The garden waste crew is also attempting to operate in more remote areas of the district.
There is a possibility that some roads, especially in these areas, could remain inaccessible for the rest of today.
If the teams are unable to collect residents’ bins today, they are asked to leave them out and the crews will return as soon as we can.
White Post Farm in Farnsfield has announced that due to the amount of snowfall over night, the farm will be closed today.
